Gym Movements DVD sold out for now

Gym Movements DVD Sold Out For Now

Just wanted to give everyone an update on what is going on.

As you may have noticed, the initial run of Gym Movements DVDs are gone.  Thanks to everyone that picked one up!  I talked to Frankie just the other night and they are expecting more to come around April 1 or sooner.

Feedback Updates

To the dismay of my marketing friends, I am going to share with you the feedback on the Gym Movements that I have received so far.  I have nothing to hide, so you will always get the real deal and the inside word.  I was told not to do this, but I want everyone to be on the same page with the latest updates and inside workings.

Pros

People are still busting PRs left and right like crazy! Every day I hear from someone else that is doing the protocol and hitting all time PRs. I love it! I never get tired of hearing people destroying their old performances. Yeah!!  Many times, it is the highlight of my day to check my email or the comments here and see people achieve another personal record.   I get excited every time I hear about it!  Thanks to all for sharing their PRs!!

Cons

Some were not happy with the overall production quality of the DVD (only 2 people have contacted me directly with that concern).   I will be the first to admit it was ok, but far from stellar production. It worked, but was nothing crazy on that front.

Others said their was no back story on the presenters (1 person).  Who are they and where did the come from?

In hindsight I would agree with this too, and since I have known them for years it did not dawn on me (I know it seems so simple now) that many would want more back drop than just what to do.

Confusion. So I test my exercises, reps, sets, etc and then what?
The first DVD was set up to get people to start testing. It was not set up to answer every question known to man about biofeedback training.   This may have added a bit to the confusion in the process though.

The Solution

In hindsight, I am probably the worst person to review a DVD of this type, since 1) I knew the presenters and their backgrounds already 2) I don’t care much about production, as long as I can see and hear what they are doing.  I’ve paid a lot of money for simple manuscirpts, poor conference recordings and DVDs that look like they were filmed with a 1920s camera.   I don’t mind as long as the information is solid.   Again, that is MY preference though.

Others (and rightfully so) are more concerned with those points.

To be perfectly honest, my biggest concerned when I first started testing movements with range of motion over 2 years ago was “Does this work?”

I spent a long time working directly with Frankie to make sure that it does work. I had my online and in person athletes do it to get more data. I measured my heart rate, resting metabolic rate, heart rate variablity and other measurements to see if they were close (in general, they were). I kept track of my weight, body fat percentage for over 2 years, even had under water weighing and Bod Pod measurements done for body fat.

My other fear is that people would buy the DVD and not take any action and they would not test their movement.

To my relief, both of my fears turned out to be NOT true; which is great!

Going Forward

I want to see everyone that bought a DVD from this site to break PRs like crazy, and I am committed to make it happen.

The conference call for the early buyers is set for this coming Tues, Feb 23 at 9pm CST. This was the best comprise on times I could find. It will be recorded for those that can’t make it.

I have a special email address set up to get your questions ahead of time, so email me  by clicking HERE  (Gym Movement Conf Call Questions) Email me your feedback and questions by this coming Tues at noon CST.

I am working on getting your email addresses, so in case you don’t read this blog I will email you directly via Aweber to get the conference call log in details to you.  Look for it in your email box Monday or earlier.

Conference call #2 Just Added

For everyone that bought the DVD I will have another conference call to be held mid March.   This will be a way for those that missed the first one (and purchased early) and for everyone that has the DVD currently.

On these calls, I will answer ANY question related to the product, share my experience with it, and give you some tips to be breaking PRs left and right.

At the end of these calls, I will conduct another survey to see if anyone has any issues. I will do whatever it takes to get all of you on the right track and if I have to email you directly or even pick up the phone and call you, I will to make sure you are destroying it in the gym!

Summary

I subscribe to the philosophy of “fail forward as fast as possible.” I could have sat on the sidelines and watched others promote the Gym Movements DVD and waited for more feedback before I jumped in. I decided not to since I really believe the information needs to get out there for more to test it.  I had tested if for a long time and believed it to work extremely well (which all the feedback so far supports).

The downside is that the process will have some bumps in the road, and that is fine.

I will do whatever it takes to make sure everyone is 100% happy.

If you are still not happy, email me directly via the contact page above and I will make sure you get all of your money back; no questions asked.

Again, if you are not happy, you NEED to email myself or Gym Movements directly so we can get your issue fixed ASAP. I am not physic, so if I don’t know you are unhappy I can’t help you.

While I did not create the product, I did promote it so I will take the responsibility to make sure everyone is satisfied.  So far I have received only 2 emails from those that were not happy, and they have been taken care of already.

I look forward to talking with many of you this coming Tues night.

Any comments, post away at the bottom and let me hear about those PRs too.  Off to the gym to set some PRs myself.

Rock on
Mike T Nelson
